Does the invoice display name have a character limit in Chargebee?

Problem Statement

Can I split the invoice display name into multiple lines for better readability? Is there a character limit?

Solution

The invoice display name has a 100-character limit and is single-line only. The field wraps at 81 characters; the 82nd character moves to the next line in the PDF.

For multi-line or longer text, use Add Description when editing the plan. The description appears on the invoice and can be customized.
