Insights
The Insights dashboard is the landing view for the Reveal Transactions module. It summarizes the health of your payment stack for the selected period and surfaces prioritized, solution-based recommendations across every connected Gateway Account.
To open it, select Transactions from the toggle at the top center of the dashboard. If you have not connected a payment processor yet, start with Get started with Transactions.
Key metrics
KPI cards at the top of the page report headline metrics for the selected period and filters, such as total volume, transaction authorization rate, invoice authorization rate, and potential savings. Use the Gateway Account, currency, and date-range filters to focus on a specific segment of your payment stack.
Categorized insights
Below the KPI cards, Reveal groups recommendations into categories so you can act on the highest-impact opportunities first. Each insight states an estimated impact amount and a recommended action. Categories include:
- Recovery — Revenue you can recover by retrying or repairing failed payments.
- Payment methods — Performance differences across payment methods, including checkout drop-off.
- Fees — Transactions downgraded by card networks—for example, due to AVS, CVV, capture delay, or missing Level 2 and Level 3 data—that result in higher processing fees.
- Regions — Authorization and decline patterns segmented by geography.
- Voluntary churn — Cancellations and failures that put recurring revenue at risk.

- Error analysis — Break down failure reasons and quantify revenue impact at checkout.
- Retry analysis and order recovery — Measure how orders recover after failed payment attempts.
- Alerts — Configure threshold- and range-based monitors and notify teams through Slack and other channels.
