Introducing the Chargebee CLI

Overview

Chargebee is a subscription billing and revenue management platform. It handles recurring billing, invoicing, and subscription management.

Accessing Chargebee

You can use Chargebee through the web interface, the API, webhooks, hosted payment pages, and the customer portal.

1. Web Interface

Use the web application to create and update billing information and to grant team members access to roles. Log in with your credentials, then set up your products and related configurations. You can also use the API for recurring billing.

Chargebee's web application runs in current versions of Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, without plugins or extensions. Use the latest version or one of the two previous versions. Internet Explorer (IE) is not supported. If the web app fails in a specific browser, contact support.

2. API

Chargebee provides HTTP-based REST APIs so your application can manage billing. See the API documentation and the client libraries.

3. Webhooks

Webhooks notify your application when events occur in Chargebee, such as subscription activations, renewals, and successful payments. Learn how to configure webhooks.

4. Hosted Payment Pages

Hosted payment pages collect subscription and payment details on PCI-compliant pages. You can customize them to match your business without development work. Learn more about hosted pages.

5. Customer Portal

The customer portal lets customers manage their subscriptions and billing information. It requires no development work. Learn more about the customer portal.
