Reporting Overview

Chargebee Retention provides out-of-the-box reports that aggregate data from your customers' cancel sessions. When you sign up for Chargebee Retention, you will have immediate access to demo reports to help you understand the insights provided through the product. After you go live with Chargebee Retention, the reports will be cleared of demo data and reflect your live sessions.

Reports will be found under these tabs:

Dashboard

The Chargebee Retention Dashboard contains multiple reports that display a high level overview of your Cancel Page performance:

  • Pulse report with key metrics
  • Save Performance
  • Deflection Funnel
  • Retained Revenue (for Chargebee Billing and Recharge customers)
  • Saves (for customers not using Chargebee Billing and Recharge)
  • Cancels
  • Active Watchlist
  • Benchmarks

Reports on the Dashboard include a link to the Insights or Customers reports to provide a deeper dive into that area. Customers who have enabled Chargebee Billing or Recharge integration will also see Retention Lift and Cumulative Retained Revenue reports on the Dashboard.

Insights

The Insights reports provide a deeper level of detail into your cancel page performance.

  • Cancels report: View cancel page outcomes (cancels vs. saves and deflects) broken out by cancel reason or cancel category
  • Offer performance report: Get a detailed understanding of how your offers are performing
  • Experience performance report: Get a detailed understanding of how your cancel pages are performing
  • Retained revenue cohort report: View retained revenue over time by deflection cohort.
  • Lift report: View performance of your cancel page compared to a no-offers control page or your in-house cancel page.

Trends

The Trends reports provide a view of your cancel page performance over time (day, week, month, or quarter).

  • Save performance report: View deflect rate, save rate, and cancel page outcomes (cancels, saves, watchlist) over time
  • Deflection report: Get a breakdown of deflect rates, number of deflects, and revenue from deflects based on deflection types (modal offer accepts, loss aversion offer accepts, passive deflects)
  • Cancels report: View canceled revenue or number of canceled customers over time. You can also break out the data by cancel reason, audience, experience, and other attributes.
  • Saves report: View saved revenue or number of saved customers over time. You can also break out the data by cancel reason, audience, experience, and other attributes.

Customers

The Customers report list all of your customers that hit your Chargebee Retention cancel page, filtered by outcome:

  • Cancels
  • Saves
  • Watchlist
  • Lost Deflects
  • Repurchases
  • Winbacks
