This feature is a Private Beta Release. Contact Chargebee Support to enable eWAY Rapid for your live and test sites.
eWAY Rapid is a comprehensive payment solution tailored for online merchants operating in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia. It is well-regarded for its fast settlement capabilities, support for multiple currencies, robust anti-fraud features, and competitive pricing, particularly advantageous for large-scale businesses.
Chargebee integrates with eWAY Rapid via payFURL, a payment orchestration platform that specializes in gateway integrations and provides a suite of payment-related APIs. eWAY Rapid manages tokenization, while the tokens themselves are securely stored within payFURL's infrastructure.
Consider the following before you choose eWAY as your payment solution:
Note:
There are two possible accounts that you can create with eWAY: a test account and a live account. Any transactions processed in eWAY's test account, the Sandbox Business Center, will create dummy data so you can get an idea of how eWAY's live account, the Business Center, works.
Contact eWAY to make an application to activate your Business Center account when you are ready to start accepting payments.
Chargebee offers the following options to integrate with eWAY Rapid on its live site:

Chargebee API + eWAY Rapid | You collect and transmit card details to Chargebee, which then routes them to Spreedly. This setup increases PCI obligations, requiring your systems to meet stricter security standards. | High |

The token format is | Minimal to None |
Chargebee.js + Raw Card Details | You collect raw card details via a custom checkout and pass them to Chargebee.js. This provides flexibility but requires full PCI compliance on your side. | High |
