Chargebee CPQ for Salesforce

Overview

Chargebee CPQ brings advanced quoting capabilities to Salesforce, enabling sales teams to create quotes directly within Salesforce while leveraging Chargebee's product catalog and pricing engine.

Unsupported Capabilities

Chargebee CPQ for Salesforce does not currently support the following capabilities:

  • Coupons (Supported in 1.71+)
  • Time-Based Discounting
  • Chargebee Approvals
  • Tier Overrides

Note:

1. When multiple Chargebee sites are connected

When multiple Chargebee sites are connected to your Salesforce org, the quote operation will be executed against the Chargebee site that the Salesforce Account is mapped to.

2. Quote creation creates a customer in Chargebee

Chargebee CPQ requires all quotes to link to a Chargebee customer. If the linked Salesforce Account doesn't have a customer in Chargebee, Chargebee automatically creates one during quote creation.

3. Create Quote quick action

To use the new Chargebee CPQ quoting experience, add the Create Quote quick action to the page layout. Avoid using the standard New Quote button, as it triggers the legacy quoting flow.
