Create a Quote for Subscription Amendment or Renewal

Chargebee CPQ allows you to manage existing subscriptions from within Salesforce by creating either Amendment or Renewal Quotes. Use Amendment Quotes to modify an active subscription, and Renewal Quotes to extend subscriptions nearing their end.

Prerequisites

• The Salesforce Opportunity must be linked to a valid Account.
• The Account must already have an active Chargebee subscription.

Create a Quote for Amendment or Renewal

1. Navigate to the Salesforce Opportunity screen. Open the relevant Opportunity in Salesforce.

2. Click Create Quote.

3. Select the Quote Type and click Proceed.

   • Amendment- To modify an existing subscription.
   • Renewal- To renew an existing subscription nearing expiry.

4. From the dropdown list, choose the Chargebee subscription to amend or renew.

5. Add or modify the line items.

6. Click Save to finalize the quote.
