One-time Charges Quote

Overview

You can use One-time Charge quotes to bill customers for non-recurring charges, such as setup fees, training, delivery, or custom services, outside of their subscription. For example, your Customer Success Manager might want to charge a customer for a one-time onboarding fee not tied to any plan or billing cycle.

Creating a One-time Charge Quote

To create a one-time charge quote in your Chargebee Billing site, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the specific customer record for which you are creating the quote, and click Create Quote.

  2. On the Create quote popup, select One-time Charge in the Quote Type dropdown and click Proceed.

  3. On the One-time quote form page, you can:

    • Click Add Charge to add a predefined charge from your Product Catalog, or
    • Click Add Quick Charge to add an adhoc charge as shown below:

  4. Click Create.

Next Steps

Once the quote is created follow these steps:

  1. Submit Quote for Approval (Optional)
  2. Send Quote to Customer for Acceptance
  3. Convert Quote to Subscription
