SEPA via J.P. Morgan Mobility Payment Solutions

This feature is a Private Beta Release. Request access to enable SEPA via J.P. Morgan Mobility Payment Solutions gateway for your test and live sites.

Single Euro Payment Area (SEPA) is a unique euro payment area that establishes an integrated European market for payment instruments. The aim of SEPA is to ensure that payments within Europe take place as simply and effectively as those within a single country. Chargebee allows you to configure SEPA using J.P. Morgan Mobility Payment Solutions.

Note

  • SEPA is applicable only for payments made in EUR (Euro).
  • Currently, this integration method collects payment instrument information from your end using J.P. Morgan Mobility Payment Solutions widgets.

Prerequisites

The following are prerequisites for this integration:

  • Make sure the J.P. Morgan Mobility Payment Solutions gateway is configured in Chargebee. Learn more. If you already have the J.P. Morgan Mobility Payment Solutions gateway configured on your site, proceed with the SEPA configuration.
  • Make sure you have SEPA enabled for J.P. Morgan Mobility Payment Solutions in your Chargebee and J.P. Morgan Mobility Payment Solutions accounts.

Configure SEPA payments via J.P. Morgan

Follow these steps to configure Direct Debit (SEPA) via J.P. Morgan Mobility Payment Solutions in your Chargebee site:

  1. Log in to your Chargebee Billing site.

  2. Go to Settings > Configure Chargebee > Payment Gateway > J.P. Morgan.

  3. Enable Direct Debit (SEPA) to configure direct debit payments for European customers.

  4. Enter the following details on the Direct Debit (SEPA) configuration page shown below:

    • Creditor Name
    • Creditor ID
    • Creditor Email
    • Creditor Contact Number

    Contact your Account/Implementation manager at J.P. Morgan Mobility Payment Solutions to get these details.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Click Apply on the Configure J.P. Morgan Mobility Payments Solutions page.

Note

This integration supports the use of the Payment Initiator API parameter, which, when passed along with the transaction, helps Chargebee distinguish between Customer and Merchant-Initiated transactions and handle the payment more effectively. Learn more
