How to charge a card before the next retry after a failed payment?

You want to know how to charge a card before the next retry after a failed payment.

Solution

Summary

In Chargebee, If there is a payment method on file for the customer, you can make use of the 'Collect Now' option available at the invoice level to collect payment from your customers.

Note

  1. The Collect Now option will not appear if there is no payment method on file.
  2. You can also configure Dunning to let Chargebee automatically retry for payments.
