Unable to add a same GoCardless account on two different Chargebee account

Problem Statement

Chargebee does not allow adding a GoCardless gateway account. You see the error: This gateway is already configured for the site. Probable reason: This GoCardless account is already connected with another site.

Solution

A single GoCardless account can be connected to only one Chargebee site. If you try to connect the same GoCardless account to another Chargebee site, this error appears.

Use a different GoCardless account for the second Chargebee site. If you need help, contact Chargebee support.

Important Notes

Note:

A GoCardless account already connected to one Chargebee site cannot be connected to any other Chargebee site in the same region. It can be connected to a Chargebee site in a different region.
