Solution

  1. Ensure GoCardless is connected to your site and customer record exists in GoCardless and in Chargebee

  2. Make sure Display Direct Debit as a payment method for customers is configured:

  1. Make sure the Direct debit payment option is enabled at the customer level:

  1. Get the mandate Id from GoCardless

  1. Import this into Chargebee using bulk operation using Customer > Update Customers Payment Method bulk action
