Operation failed. Contact support for help - GoCardless integration
Problem Statement
You receive the error "Operation failed. Contact Support for help" when adding a bank payment source via API using the Create a bank account payment source API with GoCardless.
Solution
Creating a bank payment source via API for GoCardless requires:
- GoCardless Pro plan: Your GoCardless account must be on a Pro plan. Contact GoCardless for details if you are not on Pro.
- GoCardless advanced features in Chargebee: Chargebee must have this enabled for your GoCardless gateway account.
If you are on a GoCardless Pro plan, contact Chargebee support to enable the GoCardless advanced feature from the backend.
