CyberSource

CyberSource is a payment gateway solution that allows merchants to safely accept payments across multiple sales channels, worldwide. You can integrate and use CyberSource as a payment gateway in Chargebee to effectively process your payments.

CyberSource is available for companies based in Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and North America. Chargebee currently supports only card payments made via CyberSource.

Integration Options

Chargebee provides two options to integrate with CyberSource.

Chargebee Checkout and CyberSource Payment Gateway:
The customer's card information is collected by Chargebee's Checkout and passed on to CyberSource. This option will relieve you from taking care of PCI Compliance requirements. All that you will have to do is fill in and submit this Self Assessment Questionnaire to stay compliant.

Chargebee API and CyberSource Payment Gateway:
The customer's card information must be collected at your end and is passed on to Chargebee. Chargebee will then route the card information to CyberSource. PCI compliance requirements must be taken care by you.

Configuring CyberSource Payment Gateway:

Prerequisites:

CyberSource will not be enabled to you by default. Please write to support@chargebee.com if you wish to enable the gateway. We will send you a link using which you can configure the CyberSource.

Setting up CyberSource:

Step 1: Click the link that has been sent to you by our support team. You will be redirected to the CyberSource configuration page.

Note: You can configure CyberSource only in your Live Site.

Step 2: Enter a Display name of your choice.

Step 3: Enter your CyberSource Merchant ID (User name ) and Transaction Key.

Step 4: Select the Enable Card Verification Checkbox if you want to validate your customer's card before adding it. Enabling this will validate your customer's card by doing a test authorization and then voiding the transaction. Cards that do not pass this test cannot be added.

Step 5: Select the Retain card information in CyberSource even after update checkbox if you wish to retain the customers' card information with CyberSource rather than the default gateway. This is applicable only if you have configured multiple payment gateways.

Step 6: Select the card schemes that you wish to display in the checkout screen.

Step 7: Click Configure Gateway.
