What is Paypal Express Checkout?

You want to understand what paypal express checkout is.

Solution

The PayPal Express Checkout gateway allows customers to make payments using their PayPal account. This payment option is an alternative to card-based or direct debit payment option.

Customers can choose to pay via PayPal during the checkout process and they will be redirected to the PayPal login page. Here, they authenticate the payment after which a billing agreement would be created to allow Chargebee to process recurring payments automatically from their account.

To integrate your Chargebee account with the PayPal Express Checkout gateway, navigate to Settings > Configure Chargebee > Payment Gateways and click Add a Gateway. You can follow the setup steps explained in this doc for the complete configuration.
