Navigating the Chargebee Growth Settings page

The Settings UI in Chargebee Growth centralizes administration and configuration within the Admin app.

Settings are organized by account, so that admins can configure both account-level and company-level settings. Each section contains sub-pages with controls for managing Chargebee Growth.

App-level settings

App-level settings apply to a single Chargebee Growth application. Use them to configure how that application sends notifications, connects to other services, syncs billing data, and is installed in your product.

Alerts and webhooks

Use the Alerts and webhooks page to configure alerts and webhook notifications for key events in Chargebee Growth.

Alerts

The Alerts section lets you configure notifications for specific user actions and system events during a cancellation or exit flow.

Each alert includes the following details:

  • Trigger: The event that activates the alert.
  • Status: Whether the alert is active or inactive.
  • Notifications: The channels used for delivery, such as Slack or email.

Webhooks

The Webhooks section lets you send event data to external systems in real time.

Integrations

Use the Integrations page to connect and manage third-party services used by Chargebee Growth.

Integrations are grouped by category. Each integration displays its current status and provides a Manage option for configuration.

Developers

Use the Developers page to view billing synchronization status and account matching details in Chargebee Growth.

Billing summary

The Billing summary section provides an overview of billing data synchronization.

The Billing sync view shows the status of account matching between Chargebee Growth and your billing system:

  • Matched accounts: The number of accounts successfully synced and matched.
  • Unmatched accounts: The number of accounts that could not be matched.

The view also includes the following details:

  • The percentage of unmatched accounts.
  • The number of new unmatched accounts identified during the current week.

This view is informational and helps you monitor the health of your billing integration. To configure or update billing integrations, use the Integrations page.

Setup

Use the Setup page to configure installation, data mapping, and application behavior in Chargebee Growth.

Installation

Configure how Growth experiences are embedded in your product. Select Installation options to:

  • Set up Chargebee.js.
  • Use APIs for a custom integration.

Field mappings

Map the data fields passed through your JavaScript implementation. This section displays the number of mapped fields. Click Map fields to configure the mappings. This is also where you map the save and cancel return URL fields. For details, see Configure save and cancel return URLs.

Configuration

The Configuration section includes settings that control how Chargebee Growth behaves, such as Global URL Configuration for default save and cancel return URLs. For more details, see Configure save and cancel return URLs.

Activity log

Use the Activity log page to monitor system activities and track events in Chargebee Growth. The Activity log is a read-only view designed for monitoring and troubleshooting system behavior. Each entry shows details such as ID, time, category, activity, and result, and you can filter, search, refresh the list, and configure alert settings from this page. Filter and search

Use the available controls to refine the activity list:

  • Filters: Filter by category or by result.
  • Search: Search for specific activities using keywords.

Refresh data

Click Refresh to load the latest activities to update the activity list.

Alert settings

Click Alert settings to configure alerts related to activity events.

Company-level Settings

Company-level settings apply across all applications within your Chargebee Growth account. These settings are global and affect all configured experiences.

Custom domain

Use the Custom domain page to configure a branded domain for your Growth experiences.

By default, Growth pages are hosted on a Chargebee domain. You can configure a custom domain to provide a branded experience for your users. To set this up, see Set up a custom domain.
