Expansion

Expansion use cases help you grow revenue from subscribers you already have by moving them up to higher tiers. They focus on the upgrade decisions that tend to stall—subscribers who don't move to the next plan up. For example, subscribers who need only part of what the top tier offers, and loyal subscribers who deserve a different kind of nudge than newer ones.

The tutorials below are examples of how to put this into practice with pricing tables and plays. You can run a pricing experiment to find the upgrade price that grows expansion, run a packaging experiment to capture expansion with a new plan between two existing tiers, or use sub-audiences in a single play to tailor upgrade pricing to subscriber tenure—each measured against your standard upgrade table before you commit.
