Shipping Address and Labels

Chargebee can collect and store customers' shipping address details from the hosted page and store it under the subscription of the customers. This is very useful for businesses that ship physical goods to their customers. These addresses can be downloaded as labels for printing as well.

Shipping Address

If you have shipping address fields enabled, it will be displayed on your hosted page.

To enable the required shipping fields on your hosted pages, go to Settings > Configure Chargebee > Checkout & Self-Serve Portal > Field Configurations in the web interface. You can also set the default country, and the country field will be filled in already on the hosted page.

The shipping address can be added and edited after signing up using the web interface or the API  as well.

This feature is not available for users who signed up after Dec 2017.

Shipping labels can be printed using the shipping address that is stored in the subscriptions.

In the subscriptions section in the web interface, you can click on the "Actions" drop down and select "Download Shipping Labels"

You can also filter subscriptions to show only the ones you would like to print labels for, and download those labels.

Can I edit the layout of the labels?

Yes. Once you click on "Download Shipping Labels", you will be taken to a page (shown below) that allows you to specify the number of rows and columns on the page.

You can also edit the CSS style here if needed.

The labels are downloaded in .html format and you can edit and print them.
