Language pack upload errors

Problem Statement

You encounter errors when uploading a translated language pack.

Solution

Error: "Header length mismatch"

This error usually occurs when the application used to edit the CSV changes comma-separated values to another separator (for example, colons). The language pack requires comma-separated values.

How to resolve: Re-download the language pack and make your edits again. Use a text editor or Google Sheets. Avoid using Numbers on Mac, which can cause upload errors. Save the file with the .csv extension only.

Some terms are still not translated

If terms like "paid" or "pending" remain in English, they are enum values. Edit them in enums.csv as described in How to translate the terms "Invoice" and "Paid" on an invoice.
