What is localized in Chargebee?

Problem Statement

You want to know what customer-facing content can be translated in Chargebee.

Solution

Chargebee localizes the following:

  • Invoices (the invoice PDF sent to your customers)
  • Credit notes (the credit note PDF sent to your customers)
  • Email notifications
  • Checkout pages
  • Customer portal

Note:

  • Invoices and credit notes, once created in a particular language, cannot be changed.
  • When you have set up localization, translation is not applied in Chargebee's web interface.
  • The Chargebee web interface always displays content in English only.
