Language pack error: Unwanted folder (folder other than language folder)

Problem Statement

You see the error "Language Pack Error: Unwanted folder (Folder other than language folder)" when uploading a language pack.

Solution

This error occurs when you upload only a single language folder (for example, nl for Dutch) instead of the complete language pack. The system expects the full pack structure.

Example: If you upload only the nl folder, you may see errors such as:

• Unwanted folder in /nl/internal
• Unwanted folder in /nl/mandatory
• Unwanted folder in /nl/emails

How to resolve

1. Download the existing language pack.
2. Add or update the nl folder (or your target language folder) with your translations.
3. Upload the complete language pack, not just the single folder.

Important notes

Uploading only the nl folder overwrites the pack with that folder alone. You may lose translations for other languages. Always upload the entire language pack.
