Test EBANX gateway integration in Chargebee test site

You can simulate the checkout experience of an end customer using EBANX using the Chargebee Billing test site. This allows you to validate the integration, smart routing, and customer information flow before going live.

Prerequisites

Before starting the test, ensure that the following setup steps are completed:

  1. Ensure that the EBANX test instance is connected in your Chargebee test site.
  2. Set up Smart Routing as recommended for EBANX transactions.
  3. Generate a Checkout link from your test site.

Checkout Flow

During the EBANX-specific checkout flow, you will be prompted to provide the following information:

  • Document Type
  • Document ID
  • Full Name

These fields are required for compliance with local regulations in LATAM markets. Make sure that the values you provide are consistent. For example, the Document ID must match the selected Document Type and correspond with the customer’s full name.

Test Credentials

Important Notes

  • These credentials are valid only in the Chargebee Test Site and cannot be used in production.
  • For testing other EBANX payment methods (e.g., boleto or local wallets), refer to EBANX’s official sandbox documentation.
