How to add a non-recurring addon (or Charges for Product Catalog 2.0) when a subscription is in the canceled state?

Problem Statement

You want to add a non-recurring add-on or charge to a canceled subscription without reactivating it.

Solution

Use Add Add-on or Add Charge from the subscription action panel. The subscription stays Canceled and an invoice is created. For Product Catalog 2.0, use Add Charge or Quick Charge from the action panel.

1. Go to Subscriptions and select the canceled subscription.
2. Click Add Add-on (for a pre-configured non-recurring add-on) or Add Charge (to create a charge on the go).
