Can I receive a copy of all/specific email notifications sent to customers?

This article covers:

Adding an email address as CC/BCC for email notifications

Adding/modifying sender address

Adding CC/BCC to master template

Solution

You have the option to add the email address of the owner (or the team) in the Cc or Bcc fields (Bcc, if you do not want your end customer to know that you are copied in the email), so that they get notified every time the particular email is being sent out

If you'd like to be notified about all the email notifications sent to your customers, then you can add your email address as CC/BCC in the master template. To configure the master template, navigate to Settings >> Configure Chargebee >> Email Notifications >> Customize Master template >> and add yourself to CC/BCC fields.

If you'd like to be notified only about specific email notifications, then simply navigate to the specific email notification template and add your email address to the CC/BCC email.

Example; if you'd like to be notified of payment failures & successes.

To set this up, go to Settings >> Configure Chargebee >> Email Notifications >> Payment Failure >> Edit >> Add email addresses.

If you have dunning enabled for your site, multiple payment retries will be attempted based on your dunning configuration. Accordingly, payment failure and payment successful notification will be sent to your customer. You can use the same process mentioned above to add the product owner's email address for those notifications (Dunning for Online Payments) as well.

Note: These emails are designed & intended for your customers, Chargebee also has a set of emails for Merchants for which you can configure under Settings »__Configure Chargebee » Chargebee Notification
