E-Invoicing Overview
E-invoicing requirements vary across countries, including supported formats, transmission networks, and compliance processes. Chargebee follows a partner-led approach that enables you to work with specialized e-invoicing providers based on your regional and regulatory requirements.
Enable E-invoicing for Chargebee Billing
You can enable E-invoicing for your Chargebee Billing site using either of the following approaches:
- Use an existing E-invoicing partner solution: Work with one of Chargebee's existing partners to generate and transmit compliant E-invoices. This approach provides a faster implementation path for supported countries and networks.
- Onboard a new provider using Chargebee's E-Invoicing SPI: If your preferred provider is not currently integrated with Chargebee, the provider can partner with Chargebee and build an adapter using the E-Invoicing SPI. The provider or merchant can develop and maintain the connector. Chargebee's Customer Adaptive Solutions team can also build the connector as a paid engagement.
