Can I use transfer configuration to update the plan prices?

Problem Statement

You performed transfer configuration, but your LIVE site still shows the old pricing.

Solution

Transfer configuration is recommended when pushing plans from TEST to LIVE for the first time, not for price updates.

If you have already transferred plans from TEST to LIVE, the product family in both sites has the same name. When you run transfer configuration again, Chargebee compares by name and skips configuration that already exists—it does not override it.

To update plan prices on your LIVE site after changing them on TEST, use bulk operations instead of transfer configuration.
