When managing scheduled cancellations for subscriptions, users are not able to see the edit cancellation date for their scheduled subscription cancellation.
When a cancellation is scheduled, it is typically set to end at the end of the current billing term. However, if the cancellation date is later modified to a date that falls outside the current billing cycle (e.g., changing the cancellation to a date after the current term ends), the system will not show the edit cancellation date. This is because the system treats the cancellation as a new schedule outside the billing term, which is why it doesn't display the original edit.
Remove the Current Cancellation Schedule: If the cancellation date was modified to a future date outside the billing cycle, you will need to first remove the existing cancellation schedule. Doing so will ensure that the subscription continues its billing cycle as usual.
Re-schedule the Cancellation: After removing the current cancellation schedule, you can then schedule a new cancellation for the appropriate date. This can be done for the end of the current term or any future date as needed.
Note
For any scheduled cancellations falling outside the current billing period, always ensure to remove the previous cancellation before rescheduling. This allows the system to process the new cancellation schedule accurately and ensures proper billing.
