Problem Statement

This article helps you understand how are recurring payments affected because of sca.

Solution

The first payment during the signup via checkout will have to go through the 3DS flow before the subscription is created. Future recurring payments will be considered as Merchant Initiated Transaction (MIT) and will be exempted.
