What’s new ChargeBee? Coupon codes for referrals, future subscriptions, PDF invoices and loads more…

We’ve been super busy the last couple of weeks and plan to keep the momentum going. And what have we been doing? Well, 13 new feature additions, 11 enhancements and 2 bug fixes (yes, we don’t have too many bugs to fix, touch wood!).

Here’s a highlight of a few of our new feature additions:

1. Upload bulk coupon codes

First up, we have the feature to upload a gazillion (well we’re starting off with a 100 per set) coupon codes into your system. This was a feature request from one of our customers who wanted to run a referral campaign.

2. Create subscriptions today and let it start tomorrow

Another major functionality users were looking out for was the ability to create a subscription today and set it to start sometime in the future. For online retailers accepting pre-orders for gifts during this festive season, this is a very handy feature to have.

Users can now create the subscription, safely store the card details, let the subscription start on the scheduled date and not have to worry about it. Users will no longer need to keep reminders and disturb their customers during the busy period.

Creating subscriptions in the future is now support through the ChargeBee admin console as well as the API. Support for it on the hosted checkout page will be coming out soon.

3. Download PDF invoices

You can now download your invoices in bulk in a PDF format. Quite useful if you’re looking to print all your invoices to send out to customers along with their shipping.
