Product Images 

Product images are considered a crucial business asset and form an important role in building an initial impression of your products. These images can help customers with a visual experience and enable them to make an informed decision that matches their expectations. Chargebee now allows you to add images to your plans and product offerings.

The addition of product images includes two steps:

  • Enabling support for product images.

  • Upload product images to Plans, Addons, and Charges.

Enabling Support for Product Images 

Follow these steps to enable the addition of images to your product catalog in Chargebee:

  1. Log in to your Chargebee site.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Configure Chargebee > Product Catalog.

  3. Enable the toggle button for the Add placeholder to collect product images option.

With this option enabled you can now upload images to products or plans in your product catalog.

Upload Product Images 

Follow these steps to add images to your plans or products in your product catalog:

  1. Navigate to Product Catalog > Plans.

  2. Click +Create Plan to create a new plan or access an existing plan.

  3. Click Add beside the Product image option.

  4. Drag and drop the intended image or click Upload to add the image source file.

    • Support is limited to PNG and JPG format that does not exceed 1MB file size
    • The recommendation for images include aspect ratio 1:1 with image size 400x400px.
  5. Type applicable description in the Add alt text for the image field and click Proceed.

  6. Click Change if you wish to update your product image.

Follow the same steps to add images for new or existing Addons and Charges.

Let us see a sample checkout page once you have added all the relevant product images.

Disabling the product images options will result in the images not being viewable in product catalog. However, the images are stored at the backend and will be available for use if you choose to enable the feature again.
