Solution

Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is an XML-based framework for authentication through a third-party identity provider (IdP) or an in-house SSO application. Organizations that use multiple applications can use SAML so each member has one set of credentials and can access multiple applications.

SAML allows you to:

• Manage a single password policy across multiple applications
• Access multiple applications securely
• Reduce the risk of lost or forgotten passwords
