Cannot change street address in the Business Profile

Problem Statement

This article explains why you cannot change the street address in the business profile and how to resolve it.

Solution

Chargebee does not allow updating the organization address when one of the price types in tax configuration is inclusive and the origin country is set to the organization address country. Tax is calculated from that address, so it is locked.

Steps to Set It Up

• Change the price type to exclusive in tax configuration, then update the organization address; or
• Change the country of origin in tax configuration.
