Solution

If Swiss clients need complete address details (such as zip code and city) in QR codes on invoices, you can enable the enhancement so clients do not need to retype the address for payments.

Configuration steps

Step 1: Contact Chargebee Support

Reach out to Chargebee Support to request activation of the SWISS_QR_CODE_ENHANCEMENTS feature on your account. This feature is not available by default and requires backend activation.

Step 2: Verify on test site

  1. After the feature is enabled, test it on your Chargebee test site.
  2. Generate an invoice and confirm the QR code includes the full address details.

Step 3: Apply to live site

  1. After successful verification on the test site, request Chargebee Support to enable the feature on your live site.
  2. All invoices generated afterward will have the enhanced QR code.

Important Notes

  • This feature is designed for Swiss payment requirements and may not be needed for other regions.
  • Always verify changes in a test environment before applying them to your live site.
