How to stop receiving fraud monitoring email notifications from Chargebee?

Problem Statement

This article explains how to disable or restrict fraud monitoring email notifications sent when Stripe Radar flags suspicious transactions.

Solution

Chargebee uses Stripe Radar to evaluate transactions. When Stripe marks a transaction as suspicious, Chargebee sends a notification. Stripe classifies transactions as fraud or safe and passes that information to Chargebee, which then notifies merchants via email.

Display fraud alerts at customer level

Go to Settings > Configure Chargebee > Billing LogIQ > Fraud Monitor Settings and enable Display alerts on fraud detection at customer level.

Disable or restrict fraud emails

  1. Go to Settings > Chargebee Notifications.
  2. Click Manage.
  3. Select email recipients.
  4. Toggle the switch to disable fraud monitoring emails or restrict recipients.
  5. Click Apply Changes.
