How to create a report for addons with start & end dates?

Problem Statement

This article explains how to create a custom report for addons that includes their start and end dates (billing period applicability).

Solution

You can create this report in two ways: by exporting invoices or by using Report Builder in Revenue Story.

Steps to Set It Up

Method 1: Invoice export

1. Go to Invoices and Credit notes > Invoices.
2. Export invoices to download a zip folder.
3. Extract the zip and open LineItems.CSV.
4. Filter the Entity Type column by Addon.
5. Use the Date From and Date To columns for the addon billing period.

Method 2: Report Builder

Create a custom detailed report in Revenue Story using Report Builder and apply the same Entity Type filter. Watch this video for a walkthrough.
