How to create a non-renewing Subscription via Chargebee UI

Problem Statement

This article explains how to create a one-time, non-renewing subscription in Chargebee when you need to track a single billing period without automatic renewal.

Solution

Create a subscription with a fixed billing cycle set to 1. The subscription will automatically cancel after the first billing period and will not renew.

Steps to Set It Up

1. Go to Subscriptions and click Create Subscription.
2. Select the plan for the subscription.
3. Under Billing Info > Billing Cycles, choose Fixed.
4. Set the number of billing cycles to 1.
5. Add customer details and payment information.
6. Review and click Create Subscription.
