Native SDKs
Chargebee's native SDKs process in-app purchase subscriptions and collect payments through the Stripe payment gateway.
The native SDKs support the following:
- Sync in-app subscriptions to Chargebee.
- Collect card payments through tokenization.
Sync in-app subscriptions
Sync in-app subscriptions to Chargebee by integrating Chargebee with the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The integration processes in-app purchase subscriptions and tracks them in your Chargebee account, creating a single source of truth for subscriptions across the web, the Apple App Store, and the Google Play Store.
Use the iOS, Android, or Flutter SDKs if you sell digital goods or services, or if Apple's and Google's app review guidelines require you to use in-app purchases.
Collect card payments
The iOS and Android SDKs let you collect payment details with your own UI components, which gives you more control over the experience. Use them when you would rather not use WebViews or redirect the customer to a mobile browser, and want to integrate through APIs as much as possible.
When a customer submits your payment form, the SDK tokenizes the payment information and stores it at the payment gateway. The SDK returns a payment token that you use to complete subscription actions through the Chargebee APIs. Because sensitive payment information travels directly from your customer to the gateway, your PCI compliance requirement is significantly lower.
