Product family is a standard field in Chargebee for any given plan or addon. It is also a standard field on a Salesforce product. However, you may not see the product family data from Chargebee mapped directly to the Salesforce Product Family field.

Solution

Chargebee does not sync its product family data to the standard Product Family field in Salesforce.

Instead, the integration uses a custom field called CB Item Family, which is where the product family information from Chargebee is actually populated.

To view this field:

• Add the CB Item Family field to the Salesforce Product layout.

This ensures that you can access the product family details synced from Chargebee directly within Salesforce.
