This error occurs when you try to create a period that isn't configured in the Billing Frequency settings.
For example, if you attempt to create a 3-months item_price
, but the 3-months billing period hasn't been added as a billing frequency, this error will appear.
To resolve this, update the Billing Frequency settings in Chargebee.
Step 1: Login to your Chargebee account. Navigate to Settings > Configure Chargebee > Product Catalog > Setup Billing Frequency.
Step 2: Click Manage > Add Custom Frequency.
Step 3: Add months or years based on your requirement. For example, if you need a 3-months period, set the custom frequency to 3 months by selecting Enable > Proceed > Apply. Ensure that the checkbox is enabled.
The required billing period will be available, and you will no longer encounter this error when creating the item_price
.
