How do I resolve the error "Changing subscriptions term/trial period is not allowed" when editing a subscription?
This error appears when you try to change a subscription from a non-recurring to a recurring state. For example, changing a yearly plan in non-recurring state to a quarterly recurring plan triggers this error.
Workaround: Edit the subscription and increase the billing cycle (set it for extra terms or as "forever"), then change the plan.
Note:
Changing the plan of an active subscription does not trigger this error.
