Why did the billing cycles disappear or change to "Forever" after I edited the trial end date? I had a fixed number of billing cycles set.
When a subscription is in trial status with a fixed number of billing cycles and you end the trial before the scheduled activation date (using Edit > Next Billing Date), the number of billing cycles can change from Fixed to Forever. This happens because the remaining billing cycles were calculated based on the original activation date; changing the activation date can nullify them.
Note:
This behavior applies only to subscriptions in Trial status.
