How to add a trial period for an active subscription?

Problem Statement

You want to add or extend a trial for a subscription that is already Active.

Solution

Once a subscription moves from In-Trial to Active, it cannot be turned back to In-Trial. Trials can only be added or extended while the subscription is still In-Trial.
