Solution

Chargebee lets you create and manage custom fields for features in the UI. Use these fields to capture additional data and manage entitlements. Create custom fields from Settings > Configure Chargebee > Custom Fields.

Custom fields let you capture feature-specific data beyond default fields, align data with business or compliance needs, and deliver more personalized feature offerings.

Steps to Set It Up

  1. Go to Settings > Configure Chargebee > Custom Fields in Chargebee.

    • Create custom fields that capture the data you need.
  2. After the custom field is created, update the fields for specific features as needed.

  3. Manage existing custom fields:

    • Update them as needed.
    • Archive unused fields to preserve data history.
    • Delete fields if they are no longer required.
