Sending Manual Emails
Chargebee allows you to create and edit email notifications to suit your business requirements. These email notifications can be sent in bulk to all customers or to a filtered segment using the Chargebee app. To make things easier, each major section in Chargebee—such as the Customer, Subscription, and Invoice pages—will display the set of emails that can be manually triggered from that particular page. The custom emails you create will also be listed under these pages. You can select customers and send emails with a single click.
Use the Email Customers option on the Customer Details page.
Note
- You can have a maximum of six custom emails at a time.
- The Custom Email or Manual Email option is not available on the Customer Details or Subscription Details page. It is available only from the Customer Index, Subscription Index, and Invoice Index pages.
Adding Notes in Emails
Chargebee allows you to add customized notes for individual customers when you request them to add a payment method, send an invoice, or send credit notes. Watch the visualization below to see how this is done.
Note
To access and edit the manual email template in your Chargebee site, navigate to **Settings > Configure Chargebee > Email Notifications > Custom Email > Add Notification > Customer Index Page.
