Solution
Reports and time zone
All reports use the time zone configured in your Chargebee site. See Reporting for details.
Changing time zone
Go to Settings > Business Profile (under Billing) and click Change time zone. You can also enable UTC for data exports.
Impact on next billing date
Changing the time zone does not change when billing occurs. The next billing date is adjusted to the equivalent time in the new time zone in the UI. For example, changing from CST to UTC would show Dec 1, 2022 00:00 CST as Dec 1, 2022 06:00 UTC.
Time overlap and time gap
- Time overlap (e.g., UTC to IST, UTC+5:30): Transactions in the last 5.5 hours of December may appear in January. Chargebee does not move this data to the current month.
- Time gap (e.g., UTC to PST, UTC-7:00): The first 7 hours of January in UTC may have no time zone. Chargebee adds this data to the current month (e.g., January 1).
