Does Chargebee send follow-up emails after the subscription is cancelled?

Summary

Chargebee allows you to send follow-up email notifications after the subscription cancellation date. You can configure the email notifications from Settings > Configure Chargebee > Email Notifications > Subscription Cancellation.

Solution

If the subscription is cancelled either at the end of the term, on a specific date, or immediately the email 'Notification sent after Cancellation' will be sent to the customers if you have enabled the notification on your Chargebee account.

To enable this notification, navigate to Settings > Configure Chargebee > Email Notifications > Subscription Cancellation (under Customer Retention). You can configure multiple follow-up emails and also set the number of days to be notified (after) from the date of cancellation.

image

You can even configure multiple notifications from Add Notifications by choosing the event as Add a follow-up email for subscription cancellation and setting email Segmentation to send it to a specific list of customers.

Note: Some features such as Multiple Reminders/Follow-ups, Segmentation, Email attachements are availble only on selected plans. To know more, visit Chargebee's Plans and Pricing page.
