Base currency difference for Chargebee and Xero

Problem Statement

You cannot complete or use the Xero integration because the base currency in Chargebee does not match the base currency of your Xero organisation.

Solution

Chargebee and your Xero organisation must use the same base currency. Choose one of the following:

  • Change Chargebee’s base currency to match Xero (e.g. if Xero is SGD, set Chargebee to SGD). Contact support to change the base currency on your site.
  • Change Xero’s base currency to match Chargebee (e.g. if Chargebee is USD, set the Xero organisation to USD) in your Xero organisation settings.

After the base currencies match, you can complete the Xero integration.
