Chargebee Pay is available to pre-qualified Chargebee Billing customers. Request access to use Chargebee Pay.

Notifications

The Notifications page is your activity center in Chargebee Pay. It brings together the tasks that need your attention and a history of important account events in one place, so you can stay on top of disputes, settlements, and reserve balances without searching across the dashboard.

You open it from Notifications in the left sidebar. The page has two tabs:

  • To Do — actionable tasks that require your attention, such as responding to a dispute or topping up a reserve.
  • Events — a read-only history of activity on your account, such as settlements deposited or disputes won.

Information

Chargebee Pay also sends some alerts to your account email automatically, mainly dispute updates. These emails go to the email address on your merchant profile. The Notifications page is for viewing and acting on activity, so it has no settings to turn alerts on or off.

Open the Notifications page

The Notifications page has no plan, role, or feature restrictions. It is available to anyone who can sign in to your Chargebee Pay account.

  1. In the left sidebar, click Notifications.
  2. The page opens on the To Do tab by default.
  3. To view your account history, select the Events tab.

Work with the To Do tab

The To Do tab displays tasks that require your attention. Each task includes a title, a brief description, the associated amount (where applicable), and the ID of the related record, such as a dispute ID. The tab displays tasks from the last 60 days. Because this period is fixed, the To Do tab has no date filter.

Act on a To Do task

  2. Do one of the following, depending on the task:
    • Click See Details to open the related record, such as the dispute.

  3. To mark a task as read, click the red dot on the task. The dot indicates an unread task.

Filter To Do tasks by type

  1. On the To Do tab, open the Alert Type: dropdown.
  2. Select a type to narrow the list: All, New Dispute, Dispute Reminders, Additional Evidence, Negative Balance, or Fund Added.
  3. Click Apply Filters. The list updates to show only matching tasks.

If no tasks match, the page shows No results found. with a hint to check whether you've applied the right filters.

Dismiss a single To Do task

For dispute tasks, click Clear on the task to remove it from your list.

Clear the entire To Do list

  1. On the To Do tab, click Clear List.
  2. In the Clear your to-do list? dialog, review the message: All tasks in your list will be cleared.
  3. Click Confirm to clear the list, or Cancel to keep your tasks.

Marking tasks as read and clearing tasks are saved in your current browser only, so the same tasks may reappear in another browser or after you clear your browser data. The underlying records, such as disputes, are not affected.

Work with the Events tab

The Events tab is a read-only history of account activity, grouped by date. Today's events appear under TODAY, and older events appear under their date. The Events tab shows events from the last 30 days by default. To change the range, use the Events Period: date filter, and then apply your selection.
