Enabling the Multi-Business Entity feature is an irreversible action.
The feature is only available for Enterprise plans.
The feature is compatible with Product Catalog 2.0.
The feature is designed to function with a single regional data center for the Chargebee site.
Modifying the account hierarchy mapping is not allowed, meaning account hierarchy across business entities is not supported.
Product Catalog is common/shared across all business entities.
Currently, customers can only be mapped to a single business entity.
Once the feature is enabled, one cannot use the Order module.
E-commerce platforms like ShipStation & BigCommerce are inaccessible after Multi-Business Entity enablement.
Currently, the feature cannot be enabled for the Chargebee site if Apple App Store or Google Play Store integrations are enabled.
Except for the settings listed below, all other settings will be configured exclusively at the site level.
Note: We identified the settings that can be customized or overridden at the business entity level after thorough research and careful consideration. This ensures that we're introducing this capability with the most appropriate settings. Our ultimate goal is to offer flexibility for customization at the entity level for all available settings.
CRM integrations can be enabled at both site and business entity levels. The feature supports only following CRMs with given actions that need to be taken after Multi-Business Entity enablement:
For HubSpot Q2C and Pipedrive: It's necessary to unlink and relink the integrations, and for Salesforce, no additional actions are needed.
The feature supports only these Accounting Integrations - Netsuite , Intacct , and Xero .
The feature supports only these Tax Integrations - Avalara and TaxJar. Currently, separate tax profiles and engines for each business entity within a Multi-Business Entity domain are not supported.
The feature does not allow for transferring configurations between Non-Multi-Business Entity and Multi-Business Entity sites. Transfer Configuration is available from a site or business entity to another business entity.
Next Gen Checkout or Full Page Checkout is not supported for the Multi-Business Entity feature-enabled site and associated business entities.
