Product Bundling

Introduction

You can use Product Bundling to combine multiple items—such as plans, addons, and charges—from different product families into a single offering. This approach can help you increase sales and conversions.

Use Product Bundling to:

  • Display only the bundle line item on customer-facing essentials like quotes and invoices.
  • Cross-sell products across different product families or mix and match various addons to boost sales and revenue.
  • Accurately report revenue allocation for all items within a bundle, supporting better internal staffing and resource management.

Limitations

Keep these limitations in mind when using Product Bundling:

  • Product Bundling is partially compatible with CRM integrations, such as Salesforce and HubSpot. Currently, bundle plan contents will not sync to these integrations, but all other integration-related functions are supported.
  • RevenueStory does not support bundle content-level MRR computation. It also does not support mapping individual bundle items to multiple GL accounts in accounting integrations like Xero, QuickBooks Online, and Oracle Netsuite.

Getting Started

Bundle your product offerings by following these steps:

  1. Configure a Bundle Plan

    • Create a Bundle Plan
    • Define Price Points for Bundle Plan
    • Update a Bundle Plan
    • View Bundle Plans
  2. Impact of Product Bundling on Other Features

    • Use Product Bundling with Subscriptions
    • Use Product Bundling with Quotes
    • Use Product Bundling with Coupons
  3. Entitlement for Product Bundles
